What is a Bowerbird?
Bowerbirds have a special characteristic close to my heart…… they are fond of collecting an assortment of found objects to be used purely for decorative purposes. Bowerbirds create beautiful structures, patterns and elaborate displays with their finds and can spend hours arranging their collection of precious knick-knacks.

Me Old China - custom designs
All the jewellery from Me Old China is made from second-hand and vintage china plates.
As a designer for tableware I have a fascination for vintage china and I love scouring second-hand shops, salvage yards and antique shops for old-fashioned crockery.
The discarded chinaware is given a second life, crafted into collections of over-scaled jewellery and tongue-in-cheek wall plates, creating quirky nostalgic pieces with a modern twist.
