I was very excited that my house was featured in Cleo magazine this month!
The article is called 'Home is where the art is' and looks at the homes of four creative women and their different interior decor and style ideas. It was great to be featured alongside other creative women from around the world - including Karly Depew from Ohio who custom designs wedding stationery and fine paper goods under the label Oscar +Emma, Susan Banchek a jewellery designer from Philadelphia who's label is Esther K, and Eleonore Bridge from Paris who is a web consultant, photographer and art director.
The homes featured are full of an ecclectic mix of patterns, colours, found treasures and great style ideas - and they all show you don't have to have an enormous budget or buy expensive designer pieces to have a lovely personal and inviting home.
Thanks Cleo magazine - I was very flattered my little house was included in the article!

Heya¡my very first comment on your site. ,I have been reading your blog for a while and thought I would completely pop in and drop a friendly note. . It is great stuff indeed. I also wanted to ask..is there a way to subscribe to your site via email?
ReplyDeleteHi Melbourne Furniture Manufacturers!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by :-)
I need to do a bit of research on subscribing by e-mail.....leave it with me and I'll get back to you!
There is a subscribe tab on the right hand side as you scroll down the page (above the copyright notice) but I'll also do some investigation about subscribing by e-mail too.
Thanks! Lucy :-)
Ok... I think the best way to get updates from your favourite blogs is via RSS feeds.
ReplyDeleteYou need to make sure you have a version of Internet explorer that handles RSS feeds – I am currently using Internet Explorer 8.
On the top right hand side of the webpage you should see an orange button with two white lines. If you hover over this it should say 'view feeds on this page'. If you click on this button and wait a few seconds a page will then open up and you have the option to select 'subscribe to this feed'.
Once you've subscribed select your FAVOURITES tab and you should see a tab for FEEDS next to the favourites. The blog feed should have now appreared in here.
By subscribing your PC will automatically check and download any latest updates. When you go to your FEEDS tab in future any updates will be stored under the name of the blog.
I hope this makes sense and helps!
Lucy :-)
